Burger King is one of the few restaurants in Singapore who hires individuals who have special needs. In order to increase awareness for individuals with special needs, Burger King is organising a fundraiser for the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN), a social service agency providing a unique education for people who are intellectually challenged.
Available in white and black colours, the shirts are priced at S$20, of which S$14 (70% of proceeds) will go to APSN. These funds will assist APSN in their programmes to help those with special needs seek employment. You can purchase these T-shirts at all Burger King outlets over the next three months, until 17 January 2020.
It is heartening to know that Burger King recognises these people who require emotional and financial needs, not just by employing them, but also by lending a hand to APSN in nurturing these people. You can do your part too, by purchasing these tees from Burger King outlets.
