“When I used to read fairy tales, I fancied that kind of thing never happened, and now here I am in the middle of one!” —Chapter 4, The Rabbit Sends in a Little Bill.
If you grew up reading and watching Alice in the Wonderland, this exhibition at ArtScience Museum will bring the classic to life from 13 April – 22 September 2019.
Wonderland is filled with interactive sets that will take you on a journey following Alice’s footsteps from where it all started at Lewis Carroll’s drawing room, where you’ll be handed a Lost Map of Wonderland.
Go through secret doorways and find yourself at the Pool of Tears, before getting invited to the Queen’s Croquet Ground. Just be careful not to have your head rolled off!
And finally, join Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in an immersive audiovisual feast with projections that will transform the room with a large table outside of March Hare’s house.
