Indie-pop trailblazers who began their journey in Los Angeles in 2009, Foster The People quickly garnered three Grammy nominations with their debut album Torches. That achievement brought about their worldwide fame with hits like “Pumped Up Kicks”and “Helena Beat”, and they’ve been touring around the world ever since.
Oh, how I envy that rockstar life!
The band had their debut concert in Singapore back in 2012, and they’re back this time with a new album to please your ears. Sacred Hearts Club was released earlier this year, experimenting with ’80s R&B and electronic elements.
The indie-pop quartet consists of Sean Cimino on guitar, Isom Innis on keyboard, Mark Pontius on drums, and of course, the iconic Mark Foster on frontman duties.
