China is a land of mysticism shaped by its natural wonders and impressive creatures.
Out in the country, away from the congestion, skyscrapers and smog that most of us know about China, lies vast mountainous landscapes and open plains – home to the region’s majestic and diverse wildlife.

Disneynature’s Born In China follows the tales of the creatures that inhabit these tranquil lands, like a mother snow leopard and her two adorable cubs, a mother panda and her adorable cub, as well as a mischievous golden monkey.

Narrated by John Krasinski of ‘The Office’ fame, the documentary takes on a life of its own. He breathes character into each animal, making it easy for both children and adults to grow attached to them.

Aside from the information and comic relief you’ll get from the movie, I bet you’ll have your breath taken away by the stunning scenery that China has to offer.

If you’re looking for a light-hearted and beautifully tranquil film to balance out the hectic work week, head to a Cathay cinema near you and teleport to China for a bit, minus the language barrier.
